aperture 2.1.4 does not halt thumbnails--cannot export nor see images on 970! How to stop? as I maylose 100's of hours...

There are more thumbnails than 950, now @ 970,since 5-days ago; but none of the expor can occur, nor images have changed come to full view. 970 "thumbnails" remains encompassing the circlement!
I did go to: "RE: Trouble with muy Thumbnails since 2.1.4 update" and had noticed Apple Tech had suggested similar. I did go to and found I;'d used wrong key i.e.control not Apple/option. This wurked me to start 'library' and after an hour saw that thumbnails had changedto previews. ALL is well.Enough of shoulder operation after 11 months healing needing 12 mos. R Ski
