Videos won't play on my Mac 10.6.8

I have the same problem, I see you have no replies... did you fix it?

Never update from a pop up, always navigate to the site or use the update software in the application.

Try this, go to system preferences, under other double click on Flash Plater>advanced tab and click "Check Now"

Current version 12.0.0.38

While you are where sanjampet suggested, make sure you don't have it set to never check for updates.

Thanks. This sounds good, the only problem is every time I try to do this Safari quits 'unexpectedly'

Then try unistalling Flash:

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html

Then reinstall Flash for your OSX:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

Try going to Safari preferences, general tab and set "Save downloaded files to: desktop (you will have to click other , then click Desktop from the left column.

This will download the stand alone un/re installers to the desk top.

Do the un-installer first, double click on it on the desk top to launch and follow the prompts to uninstall

Then download the installer to the desktop, double click on that and follow the prompts to install

No progress in either direction. The castle is known as Leeds Castle. Look it up on Google.

I am aware of Leeds castle, my wife was schooled in Bradford & Ikkley college as she worked on here advanced degrees.

She had some drive on the left guy take us there...very cool, amongst other a great many other other things we saw.

Keep answering the questions, maybe Apple will award you this as a reward...yeah right!!!

Leeds Castle is in Kent, where I went to school...not sure what the castle conversation is about but I recommend Hever Castle which is beautiful and where Anne Boleyn grew up, its close to Edenbridge where my family live..(Leeds Castle is close to Maistone)
