Mac not sleeping when idle?
Hello, my Mac isn't sleeping when idle.
I went in Terminal and typed in: pmset -g assertions (got that from http://www.adeepbite.com/lion-seems-having-insomnia-it-doesnt-sleep-easily/ )
This is my result:
1/1/13 6:26:57 PM CST
Assertion status system-wide:
PreventUserIdleDisplaySleep 0
PreventSystemSleep 0
PreventUserIdleSystemSleep 1
ExternalMedia 0
UserIsActive 0
ApplePushServiceTask 0
BackgroundTask 1
Listed by owning process:
pid 166(coreaudiod): [0x00000001000003c3] 00:44:55 NoIdleSleepAssertion named: "com.apple.audio.'AppleUSBAudioEngine:Unknown Manufacturer:Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 :3a100000:2,1'.noidlesleep"
pid 569(helpd): [0x0000000c000003cd] 00:20:55 BackgroundTask named: "com.apple.helpd.sdmbuilding"
It seems that my Headset: Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000, is causing my computer to stay awake.
How can I get it to sleep without unplugging it from my computer?
OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
