My daughter was on my computer and somehow changed the font size in safari and it is too big. I've tried the command/shift/- and and that is not changing the appearance (font is still too big). Any other suggestions? All webpages are affected.

Note that I've tried these fixes and none reduce the font/text size enough:
From the Safari menu bar click View / Zoom Text Only
Or, Command + or Command - will increase or decrease text size.
And you can try a difference screen resolution. System Preferences / Displays / Display
Figured it out (thanks prior poster)
Go to Safari Preferences > Advanced.
Then adjust the size of type to display as you like it.
This one is set to 10, but you can up to 24 if you need to.
