This doesnt solve my problem. When I hit option-n in the password box it doesnt do anything.

I can reset my password, because its the administrator account, and I havent set my apple id account in the mac. The only was is to insert the DVD, but I am on holidays and cant do anything.

Any other way to type an ñ? One way that works is to copy paste it, but there is nothing to copy from in the login page.
