I followed exact directions in iWeb to create a Google map widget and it does not work. Any help?

Yes, well of course the Google map widget will not work any longer, because it has been linked to MobileMe and the info was stored there, so it won't work now that MobileMe has closed down.
This is quite old news now and you could have found your answer by doing a search of this forum before posting. The very same question has been asked numerous times on this forum.
You can still use Google maps, but you need to go direct to Google maps and create the map that you want and then copy and paste the html code and place it directly into an html snippet in iWeb and click Apply and it will then work.
Place the code directly into the html snippet in iWeb and DON'T use the Google map widget directly as it won't work.
Google map's widget quit working with the shut down of MobileMe
Here is a work around:
There's no need to add all the code since most of us only need one map!
