Hi
I installed bootcamp, along with support drivers; petitioned drive for windows, installed windows 8 pro but when I am in windows there is no sound. This is particularly annoying because the sole reason I did this was to use a windows only program which requires sound. Can anyone help with this problem?

Thanks for your guidance. I guess that means that I need to buy a copy of windows 7, uninstall windows 8 and try again. Would I have sound if I went that way?

Thanks. Opted to forget Bootcamp and have gone with Parallels in order to use windows, was then able to use windows 8 and program appears to be working well.
As Bob said, Windows 8 isn't compatible with Boot Camp at the moment, although some people could install it on their Macs without problem. Windows 8 support will come with a OS X update very soon
