I've just got mac book air [mid 2012] 13" as apresent. I am not happy with with its display. My old hp [6years old now] has a better and crisp display. Surel I'm doing something wrong. Can anyone help me?

Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store. Arrive early. Compare your MBA side by side with another of the same model. If the displays look the same, and if you're within 14 days of delivery, return the MBA for a full refund. If the displays don't look the same, ask the "Genius" to help you calibrate yours. Compare again. If you're still not satisfied, either return the unit or exchange it for another one.
