I was connected to my wifi for a few weeks, then all of a sudden it won't connect. I've reset the network settings, downloaded the new OS update, and it still won't work. Once I put in the password, it just says unable to join. Any idea how I can fix this?

Try power-cycling your wireless router (unplug for 15 seconds, plug back in), then reset network settings on your phone and try to join again. If that fails, see if there is a firmware update available for your router.

I am currently an Ipod Touch 4th generation owner. I may be able to help you with your Iphone issue. I have answered a question like this earlier today! Follow the steps below:
Go to: Settings>WiFi> (Tap on the arrow beside you network name (ssid))>Tap "Forget this Network"
Then try reconnecting again.
If it still continues to happen, can you please reply with the message that pops up (error message)?

Did you try everything I mentioned? Including power-cycling your router, resetting network settings on your phone, and checking to see if there was a firmware update for your router?
Yes, I did all 3 of those things. There was a firmware update so I thought that would have done the trick.
The exact message says "Unable to join the network "belkin..."
Try going to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings again if you didn't do this since updating the firware.

Try contacting Apple Support, because alot of people have the same problem!

Try letting them know whats happening, and let them know that lots of Iphone users have the same problem.

Ok before I got as far as apple support, I think i figured out the problem, but not sure how to fix it. The firmware version that I recently downloaded on my router is 1.0016. This is what it says in router settings on my computer. But as I was looking for my serial number on General - About, my phone is showing the modem firmware as 1.01.00. Could this be it?
The two are not related. It's just a coincidence that the numbers are similar.

It worked for me after I changed this setting:
Wireless > Channel and SSID
802.11e/WMM QoS > (set to OFF)
My wifi says unable to join
