airport/airplay/iTunes no longer works

Howdy,

Say, since installing an upgrade to 10.6.8 on the mac, and the latest iTunes, my airport no longer connects to my stereo speakers......

I have looked online, and apparently this is a common problem. The airport express is only a couple years old, so I can't believe Apple would not make it compatabe with new versions.... a least for a few more years.

any idea if they intend to fix this....... or any advice on how to fix it?
