I got an error message saying server "p03-imap.mail.me.com" cannot be contacted on port 993. I had unchecked SSL checkbox, and that didn't make a difference. 

 

How do I find out what port to use for my icloud IMAP - 143 with SSL doesn't work..

incoming is p03-imap.mail.me.com

no TLS certificate

    Try disabling Mail in the iCloud System Preferences and then add it back.

    Thanks for your response Barney. I had to use the TLS Certificate - and in the advanced window, use the Apple Token for authentication as well.

    I had an issue where it wouldn't set up through iCloud prefs and had to do via Mail. Mail wouldn't set up the smtp server (outgoing) correctly, though. It eventually was fixed, and I don't think it was widespread.

     

    Theoretically, setting up through iCloud will gather the correct server information. Although Mail should do the same, also.
