I have Studio 7.x
How do I upgrade to X with Apple ? Rather than having to buy all the packages again at full price ?
I looked in the A store and cannot find any upgrade paths
iMac 27" i7 2Tb 16GB with VMWare Fusion, Mac OS X (10.6.4), MacMini Server, MacBookPro 15 and iPad
There is no upgrade path from Final Cut Studio to Final Cut Pro X. FCP-X is a completely different app and is only available as a download from the App Store. When you consider it's price, it's cheaper than an upgrade ... but you only get FCP-X and not the full suite of apps. Both Motion and Compressor are also available now at the app store as stand alone products.

That has already happened.
Has been since Final Cut X was released in June 2011.
