can I auto insert set transition btwn clips and add static start/end frame to project?

is it possible to create a transition and have it auto insert between every clip on your time line ?

and also add a start and end (jpeg) frame at the very beginning and end of my project?

I would want to set this up as a standard template once I place the clips on the time line.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 2.3Ghz, i7, 16GB ram, 256GB flash

Select all the clips and press Cmd-T for the default transition.

Put a placeholder at the beginning and end of each project I guess. Duplicate projects if you want to use them as templates.
