My iMac running OS 10.8.2 won't connect with Adobe. I tried Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome no luck. I emptied my cache, no luck. Weird thing is, my iPad running Safari hooks right up! What the heck??!!?! I need it on the iMac though for Adobe Help, updates, notifications, etc. for a Lightroom 4 program I just installed. Has anyone else gotten through this enigma?

This is a little delicate, but are your Adobe apps legally paid for? Because Adobe will cut you off if a friend gave them to you.
Yes, my wife registered Lightroom 4 for me for Christmas this year. 100% legal serial number and registration confirmed and activated by Adobe, yesterday. It was an enormous hassle but made possible through using my iPad. I have screen shots of the entire serial number/registration process for safekeeping and possible use on another computer in the future.
