Can I get a discounted exchange with my iPod 4G with a iPod Classic?

Hi,
I'm too busy with my school works and I've been getting too much distraction from my iPod Touch 4th gen 32G.
Last time I visited an apple store, I had a chat with one of the tech geniuses and he told me that I could exchange my iPod Touch with any other iPod products but it will only give 10% discount to the original price of the product that I want to change with. If that is true, how much will I need to pay to get a new iPod Classic? (The only reason I chose iPod Classic is that it has a tremendous amount of storage).
