Playback static in logic pro 9.

I have playback static that is a 4 second long shhhhhhhhhhhhh sound and comes on about every 10 seconds. I have raised the buffer size, froze tracks, and even deleted some tracks to see if that would help. When i increased the buffer size, the CPU meter wasn't in the red anymore, but the static is still there. It wasn't there a few days ago when i recorded them, but yesterday it was there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its not a demo version though.

The noise you describe is commonly used to "encourage" demo version users to buy the real thing. Perhaps there has been some error with the installation/authorisation of this plugin?

Bypass (or remove from your project) to see if the problem goes away, then you'll know where to check next.

Alternatively, check that all works OK in a fresh new test project:

Add some Appleloops..... OK?

Add the Amplitude plugin... OK?
