A question about the international warranty.

Hii guys,

I bought my ipnohe 4s from the Washington DC apple store on february 2012. I was using my phone with great pleasure till last month. My lock and voice buttons crack down suddenly. My warranty still exists. But the problem is I am in the U.S now. So I want ask if any one knows about international warranty. I will take my phone to the apple store in amsterdam. Do you know will thay fix or replace my DC bought phone? Any idea will help me. Thansk in advance to all of you..

Iphones do NOT have an international warranty.

The warranty is only good in the country of original sale.

There is no international warrant. If it needs service, you will have to bring it back to the U.S. or send it to someone you know there to take it in for service.

Before opennig the question, I searched the discussions and realized that there is not an international warranty. But after that I saw another forum site telling that after 2010 there is an international warranty for unlocked iphones and wanted to ask you. It seems that I will take my chance in Amsterdam apple store. Again many thanks

Guys, just for information I talked to the apple support. They told me that international warranty WORKS for iphone 4S. So if I take my iphone to the Amsterdam apple store, they will solve my problem by giving me a service stock phone. I hope others will see this discussion. Thx anyway.
