I am using iBooks Author. I have created a few books. When more than one book is on the shelf, and I go to open one of them, another book's cover page comes up instead. The content is correct, but it references another cover. If I close and go to another book, it does the same thing. It doesn't happen every time, but maybe 80% of the time. Does anyone know how to fix this bug?

What process are you using to preview books?
I export them as .ibooks files and put it on the iPad through iTunes.
Although the same thing does happen when I'm just previewing on the iPad straight out of iBooks Author.
I've noticed, that in some cases, the opening process involves a quick flash of another book's cover - the last book opened, as an example - it's part of the cache being used to speed things along.
Does that sound like what you may be seeing?
Yes, it does seem like that's what's happening. Although it is longer than a flash. Sometimes the actual book cover doesn't appear at all, only the incorrect one - and then it's straight into the content.
Is there a way you know of to get rid of the cache and make it so that it always loads fresh content?
I think if you quit iBooks from the recent's list in iOS, you may be able to suffer less. But you'd have to repeat, as caches are designed to be otherwise persistent, sorry.
That's pretty annoying! But thank you for your advice. At least I know it's a real thing and I'm not doing anything wrong.
Hey, sorry one more thing. The books that are purchased from the iTunes store do not have this problem. Only the ones that I author. Why wouldn't the chache affect purchased books? Any idea?
iBooks you author and preview versus iBooks from the store follow a dissimilar process to the end of residing on your device...while I'm not privy to details, I'm not surprised those machinations may differ.

Hey guys, I opened up a new discussion on this in another thread but I'll try to consolodate it here.
Essentially, I'm looking for a more permanent fix of this issue. Does anyone have any ideas? Also, where would be the best place to inform Apple of this bug?
