Your iPhone 5 must have some battery problem of some sort. Try replacing the iPhone from wherever you bought it from, a battery replacement or contact apple. Hope this helps

Hello, my phone had no problem with 6.0.1 I had great battery life.
Already tried that this morning even tested it in airplane mode with no Apps download or running in the background.
Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...
Be sure to make an appointment first...

Try powering off your iPhone and powering it on again.
