imovie crash moving files

Hi,

my imovie 11 crashes everytime I am moving one event into another. I am working on the brand new imac27 with lots of performnce. But I had the same problem with my old imac. So I bought a new one. Transfering the files from my old imac was done by the setup utility OS X offers. It took 65 hours! But then the computer worked OK exept for the imovie bug.

I tried already with the apple support to:

a) delete cash

b) Hardware reset on startup (press alt + cmd + p + r while booting the system)

c) deleted the plist in the user Lib directory

d) deleted the complete preferences (as a su) folder wich set almost all my settings back

e) we have tried to move on event into another (same files) using a new user on my computer. Result: in my user account it crashes under the new account with the same files we get no crash.

Please can someone help???
