How to save and add a Internet page to home screen on iMac ??

Can anyone help me??

I am trying to figure out how to save an Internet page as an app on my home screen on my iMac ,now I can do it with my iPhone and ipad but still unable to do for iMac

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), iOS 6.0.1

Look for the http:// address or View menu -> View Toolbar if not present. There is an icon next to the address. Drag this icon to the desktop, and name the file accordingly. By the way, you can't be running 10.3 or earlier if you have a 2011 Mac. Please state what operating system you are running, and we will ask this thread be moved.
