It would be helpful to know the SSID and encryption password for your wireless network. You may need that if you want to use the internet.

First - congrats on the Macbook Air!
Second - MAKE sure you set up "Find My Mac", your iCloud and that you set a MBA login password before you leave your house! So do all that reading as well.
There are hundreds of instances of lost Airs and iPhones and people coming looking for help after they have lost them.

System preferencs > Internet & Wireless > iCloud... click on find my mac
