I have a Mac with iWork '09 and need to switch to MAS purchased software. Can I just install the MAS purchases directly over the iWork software, or do I need to un-install iWork first?
If I need to uninstall is there any particular procedure other than dragging the app files to the Trash?
If I matters, I will only be purchasing Numbers and Pages -- not Keynote.

You have to delete iWork applications first before purchasing them in the App Store, so open Applications folder > iWork '09 folder and delete Numbers and Pages. Then, open App Store and purchase Numbers and Pages
