Maschine virtual midi port not available in logic 9

Hello,

I really need help with this if anyone's available. Logic 9.1.6 is not saving "Maschine virtual midi port" some reason. I can uninstall then reinstall Maschine, restart my computer and it works until I quit logic. When I reopen logic the "Maschine virtual midi port" isn't available anymore. It's still available for other Applications just not in Logic. Specifically Logic/prefrences/controller/setup . I'm installing the appropriate Mackie controller and attempting to set the midi input to: "Maschine virtual midi port" but it isn't available anymore.

Please Advise
