I entered the credit card number in itunes. In response, I wrote "please support itunes"

You are not addressing Apple here at all.
You need to contact itunes support
The best and easiest way to contact iTunes support is by going to this link:

From here it will ask you some basic info and then an iTunes advisor will help you with your issues 🙂

We are all itunes users just like you.
We can do nothing.
You have to wait at least 48 hours for a reply. The more times you submit the less likely you're going to get help. You get put at the end of the queue for assistance. Be patient or you won't get help an they'll think it's spam. And if by th 48 hours you haven't gotten a reply all AppleCare and they will check the status for you. I work at one of the call centers. Just wait for the reply.....
