I can't change my password on my mac.... can you help me??

I can't seem to change my password and my mac keeps showing this message of "The password for the account "" was not changed. Your system administrator may not allow you to change your password or there was some other problem with your password. Contact your system administrator for help. Anyone know the solution for this?? Thanks!!!
