Buy Macbook, iBook or MacBook Pro? Max $650 unless...

I am one of the folks who had a MACbook laptop (it crashed) didn't ask the right questions and bought an iPad3. Now I need a LT please help me and I am on a tight budget $600-700 I am a very light level user WORD/video/web few pics, no games. I am a die hard Apple user. Please don't tell me I need to buy a PC due to my price range.

What's the technical data I should go armed with? Apple referb a lot of $$$ , licensed Apple co?

I am looking at the following:

Apple MacBook 13 inch Intel Core 2 Duo

2.16 Ghz / 2 GB Ram / 120 GB HD

Frequently Apple offers refurb 11 inch MBA on the website for $750. If you can budget for that it may be an option. That item is not offered today but I see I see it almost all the time.

Some private sellers of used Macs are also a source of good used Macs. One I have dealt with over many years and can speak well of is Wegener Media.

Lizyliz, there is a MacBook AIr offered on the refurb site for $749.00 now. Hope that helps.

Either a refurbished MacBook Air or a MacBook Pro. Not iBook as if you can afford £400/$650 then you should be going Intel (unless you're an Apple collector).
