I have an I pod nano which I have got music on from apple store, I couldn't set up my iPad with the same apple I'd is there away of getting my music as it doesn't show in purchased history

The only way the music could have gotten onto the nano would have been from iTunes, so just sync the tracks from that copy of iTunes to your iPad. If the tracks aren't currently in iTunes, you'll have to sync them back from the nano which will require that iTunes be authorized to the iTunes Store account under which those tracks were originally purchased.
