I have an iCloud Backup that popped up on my ipad. Says this iPd hasn't been backed up in 3 weeks. Nackups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi. I have plugged it in to my Mac, it has Wi-Fi, but when I hit the OK button from this prompt, nothing happen.s

Connect it to a power outlet. The iPad normally does not think it is charging when it is connected to a Mac, even though it is charging a little bit. You can also manually start the backup.
Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.

Reboot did not fix backup problem with iPad Mini or iPhone4. Haven't backed up to iCloud since 12/20 and 21, respectively.
Have reset Arris TG862 wireless gateway, deleted and reconnected to wi-fi(successfully). Internet connection appears to be fine, but IOS equipment won't backup either manually or automatically(all are plugged in with wifi on every night,at least.
