Hi, i got my iPad over a year and a half ago, all of a sudden the front camera gone, its works but there is a thick black line through the screen when taking images, Its not the screen as everything else works. Im wondering how much would it cost to get fixed? do apple fix iPad for you?

Apple does not repair iPads, but will replace the entire iPad for a flat fee. See the Repair Pricing section here:

There are independent iPad repair services that may be able to do a repair or less. Do a web search for "ipad repair". Note, though, that if you elect to have the iPad serviced by an unauthorized shop, you will get no further support from Apple.

Apple may make you replace the whole iPad, other places may fix the camera. If you have a warranty from a company called SquareTrade and you bought drop coverage from them, you can get it fixed at Apple and SquareTrade will reimburse you, but it might be something like a $49 deductible.
