Server software is not seeing the .nbi sets in Library/NetBoot/NetBootSPO

Did you configure the service to expect the images on your boot volume?

I have the same issue here as well. I also created three different images from the SUI and placed in both the NetBootSP0 and NetBootClients0. After when I try to turn on the NetInstall I get this error message:

"Unable to start Netinstall. To start netinstall, you must have at least one image available to access by clients"

Is there something else that needs to be done here?

Your problem is that you need to go into the images tab of the NetInstall panel and make, at least, one image available by clicking the checkbox that says "Make this image available over HTTP/NFS". That's not the exact wording, I don't have Server.app in front of me to check it, but you get the idea.

Have you enabled the service on a port? Have you enabled, or do you see, any images in the images tab?

And, have you clicked "Edit Storage Settings..." and told Server.app where to look for your images?

alright I managed to solve my problem. I didnt realize the ***.nbi had to be placed Library/NetBoot/NetBootSP0

I made the mistake of making the .nbi folder a sub folder and not the parent. So now I can see the image in the Images tab.

Hi Brian, thanks for the TIP.. I'd performed this a lot over the years and was stumped for a while on this new system on OSX 10.9.4.. should have established the clients and data on Server.app V3.2.1 UI first.
