I have downloaded icloud for my computer but when i plug in my ipod, it won't sync any on my songs onto the computer

What do you mean by your download iCloud for my computer? Are you talking about the iCloud control panel?
What do expect to happen?

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar.
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device and follow the instructions. Are yu following those instructions?
Does the iTunes see the iPod? If not:

I got the sidebar on but i can't see anything that says view anywhere
go to the store on your computer and go to the quick links and it should have one that says 'purchased' click on that and you can download any purchased songs to your icloud. but if its not a song you purchased I don't think there is anything you can do.
