Size of 10.3 install

Hi I want to know how large 10.3 is installed as I have a 3.2gig hd. will it fit?

Mac OS X (10.2.x)

No. Panther requires at least 3-4 GBs during installation. The typical Panther installation will be around 1.5 GBs after installation. OS X then requires at least 3-5 GBs or 10-15 percent of the hard drive's capacity as free space, whichever is greater. If you plan to run OS X you should have at least a 20 GB hard drive. You will also need a minimum of 128 MBs of installed RAM (512 MBs is a more practical minimum.) In addition your computer must have a G3, G4, or G5 processor and built-in USB ports to run Panther.

Not sure of your computer specs apart from the size of the Hard Disk Drive. You really need to give more information.

You have a couple of options if you want to run Panther and your computer will support it.
1. You can buy a larger HDD for your computer and install Panther.
2. You can buy an external Firewie HDD (if your computer supports Firewire) make it a bootable drive and install Panther on the external HDD.
