Can I switch my iPhone 5 to 3G or E from 4G?
I have AT&T and I live in Philly.
The 4G is always on. Can I switch to 3G or E? If so, how?
Thanks!!!

If the option exists, you can turn off LTE.
The device will then revert to the next available network which may be HSPA+ that AT&T labels as 4G.
There is no way to force the device off the HSPA+ network or to the EDGE network.

To Add to diesel's post, which is completely accurate, AT&T has been in the process of shutting down their EDGE network for some time now. There may not even be an EDGE network to switch to, depending on where you are.
It is scheduled to be completely dead by the end of 2013.
Thank you both!!!
