Couple of nights ago at 1:30 and 1:31 am, my ipohone5 made 2 phone calls on its own. One to my uncle and one to my wife's phone and woke both households up!!!
I turned it off last night in case it decides to start going through my whole phone book and make me the most hated member of the family!
Has anyone had the same experience and/or knows how it happened and how to fix it?

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
Honestly though, iPhones do not make calls on their own. Some detail of the story is being left out.

It was 1:30am and we were fast sleep. We were only woken up by my wife's phone ringing and it was my phone!
Then a couple of minutes later my uncle called and said why did I call him at 1:31am in the morning.
I am afraid there is nothing to leave out of the story. I know it just doesn't sound right. But I am taking it to an apple shop to show them the call history. But I am not very hopefull they can do anything about it.
Yeah. Me and my friend face the same problem. It auto call random people on our phone book. It doesn't show any call history that I made call to them. Any solution?
I am afraid no solutions yet.
But the good news is that it hasn't happened since.
