How can I transfer an iMovie clip onto a dvd. My MacBook Pro does not have iDVD and I can't find it in the App Store.

I just purchased a MacBook Pro. I have completed two clips using iMovie and would like to save them both to a DVD. The help function advises me to select "iDVD" on the scroll-down menu under the "Share" hotlink. Unfortunately, my the scroll-down menu under my "Share" hotlink does not contain a "iDVD" selection. I have purchased DVD Creator from the App Store, however, there is no user instructions accompanying this software. So, does anyone out there know how I can save my iMovie clips to a DVD? The ONLY reason I purchased this Apple product was to create and save clips to DVDs.

Thanks for the help,

Michael

If you are still within your 15 day return period. Call Apple they will sent out iDVD at no charge. (There are no realistic substitutes.)

Nicely explain that you may return the computer without iDVD. That usually does the trick. You MUST speak to a senior advisor to get a free copy. The first tier people cannot do it.

If that doesn't work you can purchase iLife 11 (includes iDVD) on disk.

IDVD is a wonderful piece of software and well worth the low cost of $40.
