My laptop and Ipad was stolen. How do I proceed?

I have received my new laptop and reloaded the latest version of Itunes. I cannot see my downloaded apps in the library. How will I find them and reload them to the new Ipad?

You should be able to re-download them from the store (if they are still in the store) via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage. You can also re-download ibooks and, depending upon which country that you are in, potentially music, films and TV shows. : re-downloading.

Thanks busy downloading. I take it that after that I can sync apps to Ipad?

Yes, you should be able to sync them to your iPad, in the same wasy as you did to your previous one. If you have iTunes 11 then enabling the left-hand sidebar via control-S (option-command-S on a Mac) might make it easier
