idisk error 5016

Hi, I have recently changed some of the settings in my mac since I got it from my brother and I didn't want it to be with his info. Somehow the idisk is giving me an error 5016 and I haven't been able to do anything with time machine either because it does not see the disk.

Skype also had an update yesterday and i don't know if this has something to do with the idisk issue.

iDisk is a MobileMe service, and MobileMe was discontinued, so open System Preferences > MobileMe and log out MobileMe because it doesn't work anymore

Yes. :( when I try to turn on time machine, another window pops up like it wants me to select a disk and the "use for back up" button is grey and nothing appears there. I got in the system profiler to check whether all the hardware components appear there and under the ATA option it says "this system does not contain any AtA devices installed..." I a new with mac and I really don't know how to solve things in this platform :( i used to be good at solvng things in lousy windows. The system obviously has an internal disk
