Can't sync to the iTunes

What if I have already done everything, and nothing happened, still I can't connect to the iTunes? What should I do?

Windows 7 64-bit

What would everything consist of?


I assume you have tried all this stuff but just for Completeness.


Is it a knew iTunes installation on a new computer or is it one you have used for a while.


If new then did you copy your content over from the old computer


Do you have an iPod Iphone etc or are we just discussing your computer


What happens when you start the itunes application?
