iLife '11

I have purchased iLife '11 from a third party (Amazon) because I MUST have iDVD, which the latest Macs don't have. I've had a look at it on my 2008 iMac to see just what is included. The one important item, iDVD is greyed out with a 'Skip' message (as shown below). Does this mean that iDVD won't get installed on the new iMac?

Thanks for your reply.

You say that iDVD can be manually extracted. Can you please tell me how to do this (bearing in mind there will be NO iDVD at all on the new iMac}.

Would I somehow 'extract' it from the iLife '11 that I purchased from Amazon, or if it's done some other way, have I wasted my money on the iLfe '11 package?

Thank you for your help, I've been able to extract iDVD as you described with Pacifist.

After extracting, I find that, instead of the familiar yellow/orange package icon, it appears as a folder with the various items inside (the iDVD app, Library, documentation etc.). When I eventually want to install it on a new iMac, which part or parts do I install, or do I install the whole folder?

I've tried to install the folder but I know the contents (e.g. Themes, Documentation etc.) have to be placed in various places in the computer's HD. As there is no yellow/orange bundle icon how do I install everything properly - or must I install it all straight from the Pacifist bundle (which seems to make extracting it a waste of time). Would you please help me to understand how to do it.
