Q: I can't get the Apple TV icon to appear in my top menu bar, it appears in the iTunes & I have all system requirements

How do I get the Apple TV Airplay Icon to appear in my top menu bar.

Apple TV Works with Iphoto & Itunes. But I want to try mirroring from my MAC?

Anyone help?

AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer).

Thanks. I have the Macbook Pro Early 2011, so I am going to the App store the upgrade to the latest Mountain Lion version, Hopefully that will fix it
