Hello,

I am contacting you because my iPhone won't activate. Recently I traveled to UK (London) and I bought myself an iPhone 4 from a pawnshop. They said that the phone was used with 02 carrier. I got home (Bulgaria) and tried to start the iPhone but the only thing that shows is:

"Only compatible SIM cards from a supported carrier may be used to activate iPhone. Please insert the SIM card that came with your iPhone or visit a supported carrier's store to recieve a replacement SIM card".

I don't have that option and I really don't know what to do. I would be really happy if you could help me find a solution.

Thanks,

Best regards

You bought a carrier locked phone. Only the carrier it is locked to can unlock it. For the most part, if you are not an active customer, they will not do so. Some also have time limitations and fees for unlocking.

There is nothing anyone here can do. If the phone was used with O2, then you will have to contact O2.
