Creating an acknowledgement page before visitors enter site in iWeb '09?

Hello,

I am building a health based support group web site in iWeb '09, and I would like to have a "portal" page that prompts users before entering to acknowlege that the web site is for information purposes only; however, I am unsure how to go about doing this in iWeb. My idea is much like the age verification pages of beer websites before a visitor can enter. I must also mention that my coding skills are a bit rudimentary in HTML and PHP. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Andy

You could create a page with your disclaimer and only 2 links agree (link to your home page) disagree takes them to your choice of sites.

You can turn of the navigation bar by deselecting "Display navigation menu"

Here is how I create Page navigation:

This is usually referred to as a splash page.

Create the landing (or Home) page and make this the splash with no navigation except for a text or image link to the first page that you want visitors to go to after reading the acknowledgement.

Also, don't include the splash page in the main navigation on the other pages of the site. Use the Page inspector to do this or do away with the default navigation and create your own....
