poor in-hear headphones sound?

Hi,

I recently purchased an Apple branded In-hear headphones to use with my Ipod touch, in order to improve the quality of sound that the in-box headphones gave.

But I´m not satisfied with the sound that I got with them. The sound is poor. The EQ changes are imperceptible using it. All in all, I´m not satisfied with the purchase.

Are any of you have faced something similar?
