Delete Libraries after creating Vault
I just created a Vault of all my 2012 photos and wondering if it's OK to delete the Libraries now?
Mac Pro, Macbook Pro, iMac, Cube, 7300, Mac II, Mac OS X (10.6)

Vaults are for added safety, a backup in addition to the libraries. Why do you want to delete the libraries? Do you not need to browse and edit your images any more? If you only want one item - library or vault, it would be much more useful to keep the library.
I don't need access to any of the photos I took in 2012 and want to get rid of all the hundreds of seperate project folders in the Library window.
I tried creating a project called 2012 and moving all the 2012 folders into it but wouldn't work.
I would suggest exporting your 2012 pictures as a new library, and then deleting them from a main library.
Or, better yet, just create a new library and use that for 2013.
A vault is not intended to be an archive.
