Safari quit unexpectedly

I was having problems with some applications on my macbook pro, i took it to an apple store and they reinstalled the operating system and that fixed the problems i was having. However, after that, when I click on safari, it bounces up and down longer then usual and then I get a window saying "safar has quit unexpectedly" and this happens before safari can even open. I get a very long process and details when i check to see them. Any ideas of how to get safari to work again or what is going on? Anything not involving reinstalling the OS would be helpful but if i need to then I will.
