Top right, however on a mac "delete" more akin to "backspace" there is not a "delete" in the windows sense. In that it deletes to the right of the cursor instead of the left.
If there is a way to make the key function like a delete key in windows I do not know of it.
You mean other than the key labeled "delete" at the top right corner of a MacBook Pro?
If you want it to perform a forward delete instead of the default backward delete, press Fn+Delete and it will delete in the other direction. On a MacBook Pro, the Fn key is at the bottom left corner.
If you are using an extended keyboard, there is a second Delete key in the key group above the arrow keys that behaves differently than the Delete key on the main keyboard. Yes, it's a little more confusing than a Windows keyboard, but for some reason Apple chose to call the Backspace key "Delete" some years ago.
Don't mean to hijack, but THANK YOU Network 23 I've wondered this for a long time with no avail!
I don't think you're hijacking...you're still on topic! 🙂 and you're welcome.
