Hi all,
I have an Iphone 4 but I have a major problem my trusty laptop is slowly dying so I need to sync my Iphone 4 with my newer laptop, I'm scared of losing everything on it! Can anyone help or give me solutions please thanks

Before your Old computer completely dies and To have EVERYTHING as it is Now on your New computer...
From your OLD computer...
Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

An Added Bonus is that you will have a Backup of iTunes.

You won't lose anything as long as you connect it and back it up to that newer computer/ laptop
(Gotta have iTunes though of course)
Only thing you might lose is the music (its a MAYBE) but that depends if you have the music on that newer computer/ laptop already

Are you sure...?
By design the iPhone can ONLY Sync to One iTunes Library at a time.
Connecting to a New Library will Erase the iPhone and Replace it with whatever is in the New Library.
If the New Library is Empty... ! What do you think you will get...?

Are your Apps not in iTunes on the Old computer you usually Sync with...?
They should be and will be Transfered accordingly if you are Copying as described in my first post.
Hence... ' To have EVERYTHING as it is Now on your New computer...'
Sorry 1st time of doing this and wanted to make sure I had everything right that was all. 😀 Apple should make it easier 😝

But it IMO... it is paramount that you have at least ONE BACKUP of your entire computer and TWO of your Music and Photos.
The onus to do that is on the User... Not Apple.
Most of my computer is back up on a external hard drive, so not such a bad thing.... Just was the Itunes and Iphone problem 😀 but all sorted now I think Thank you XD

It won't erase anything if it's synched to a whole new iTunes that definitely doesn't have any past information (syncs)
I bought a new laptop not too long ago and I synched my iPhone and I didn't lose a thing. I synched and backed it up on to there.
