I have gone through all the steps in this bulletin - however while my iphone5 remote works fine my iPad 1st generation running most current release (5.1.1) can not connect. I have de-installed and reinstalled but still no joy. Any suggestions?

As I stated in the title I have deinstalled and reinstalled the app on the iPad - I get through the process of linking the iPad to iTunes via control code, but then it fails to find the iTunes library. My iphone5 on the other hand works fine which to my mind eliminates any configuration questions on the router or iTunes itself. Is anyone else having a similar issue or can anyone provide some other suggestions?
