I just bought an iphone4 and I just wanted to know that if I updated this iPhone or if I restored it that if it would ask me on my phone to insert a valid SIM card. I'm asking this because my SIM card isn't a perfect fit in this phone. Thanks. Btw I'm asking this cause I have ios 6.0.1 and wanna upgrade to ios 6.0.2 if possible

That Update is Not for your Device. It is Only for the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini.
Ok then what about when I restore it?
If your Device has not been Officially unlocked by the Carrier it is Locked to there is every chance that it will fail to activate after an update.
If Officially Unlocked... you will have no issues.
